thoughts on a Series field (with glossary)

I think Jon and I have discussed this before, but using refbase.org has got me thinking again about a Series field that is attached to the glossary — or to its own glossary. I am starting to like this idea more and more. One of the main reasons I like it is that it would be ideal for the "journal" field (the one which has the glossary) to hold book titles for book chapters. For many of us, this cannot be the practice because series titles have abbreviations an therefore we place series titles into the journal field.
