We've come across an odd error in the Get PDF (PubMed); a reference with PMID: 18093169 in the Bookends database, will retrieve a different PDF when using the Get PDF command (gets PMID: 18093172). Any ideas?

You have to use various tricks to coerce the pdf from the different vendors, and it doesn't always work. I've fixed this particular problem (with Blackwell Synergy) though, and in 10.2.1 the correct pdf will be retrieved for this reference.

I just installed 10.2.1 beta, but I still get the incorrect PDF for the above mentioned reference.

That's because I fixed it 5 minutes ago -- it's not in beta 1. It will be in the next beta or the release, whichever comes first.

Resurrecting an old issue --- still not resolved. Is it me or Bookends?
Try getting the PDF for the following to PMID articles -- they pull up the wrong PDFs
PMID: 19429049
PMID: 19686738

I'd be really grateful if you can resolve this issuse.

Hi,

It was resolved, but getting the pdfs from different publishers will require updating from time to time because of changes they make. I've got it working for this publisher again, and I'll make a silent update of Bookends this evening that you can download tomorrow.
