Hi,
I recently install leopard formatting my hd. I've a a clone copy of my old hard disk and I'd like to know how to restore totally bookends with my preferences, color labels names, types etc. etc.

Can't you use Apple's migration assistant (I never tried in such a setting, but imagine it would work). If not here are the Bookends folder/file locations outside of the actual Bookends 10 folder:

~/Library/Preferences/Bookends 10 Preferences
~/Library/Application Support/Bookends
~/Documents/Bookends
