My database imported from Endnote has many authors listed in the form "firstname lastname" rather than "lastname, firstname". Endnote tolerated both formats, and alphabetized them correctly. Bookends does not, as far as I can see (did I miss a setting somewhere?). Is it possible to change this behavior in some future version?

Bookends will tolerate them when formatting. But for things like lists, no, it uses the order the names were entered in.

We have been thinking about adding a feature to "standardize" names in a future update, which should take care of this.
