I use Google Scholar to find articles. The new Google Scholar search in Bookends 10.3 is a fantastic addition, but the filter doesn't do what I need it to do. It seems to only import the author, article and journal title, year, URL, and DOI.
I need volume/issue number and pages as well, and I'd like it to distinguish between books, articles, and book chapters, at a minimum.
Zotero is somehow able to do this, so it must be possible.
I don't know enough about how Bookends is parsing the Google Scholar results to modify the filter myself - anybody else have a clue? I see that Jon has been hoping for a Google API - has that happened yet? If not, what's making it possible for Zotero to do this?
A better Google Scholar filter?
Re: A better Google Scholar filter?
Hi,
I think I see a way to do this (need to do more testing, though).

Hi,
Expect to see a major improvement in the Google Scholar import.
