How to undo from a mistake

Hello,

I have, by mistake, imported to an existing references (hits) list from the backup, to where I have exported this list previously.

The existing list had 200 references and now it has 400 hits. Is there a way to undo this import?

One more question:

I have exported, previously, this list to the backup folder of Bookend (10.3.1).

If I want to open this exported file from the menu File-->Open, this file is unavailable. Is there a way to open it by Bookend.

TIA

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you did, but I think you imported the same references into a Bookends database and you want to get rid of the second set now. To do this, Refs -> Remove Duplicates.

As for importing references exported as a "Bookends" file, you need to use Refs -> Import References. You may want to create a new empty database first, then import to that.

Thanks,

The first one I did successfully.

The second issue still needs some help.

I want to open a new references list, but when choosing File-->New database.

In the screen picture attached in the URL, one can see the New database in front, and the ref. list behind.

How do I turn the new database into a new ref. list?

TIA
