Handling OpenURL lookups from *within* Bookends

Since Bookends now accesses WebKit, what do y'all think about having Bookends handle OpenURL lookups instead of sending them to Safari? I use OpenURL to 1) check to see the status of a work in our university online catalog, 2) order a work through interlibrary loan, 3) see whether the article is available through JSTOR or other database and download it.
Would you like to have all this occur within Bookends?
