JSTOR access

Hi

Excuse me if this question has been answered before and/or has an obvious
resolution. IIRC what I'm trying to achieve wasn't possible with the older
versions of BE, but perhaps the addition of the Proxy info settings (wasn't
available in the early 10 versions was it ?) has changed that.

I have access to JSTOR via the educational institution I'm attending and the
final URL is like so: http://www.jstor.org.proxy1-bib.sdu.dk:2048/search/
Initially I'm transported to this "gateway" (or whatever) however:

Code: Select all

https://proxy1-bib.sdu.dk/etss/login.cgi?returnurl=http%3A%2F%2Fproxy1-bib.sdu.dk%2Fetss%2Fezlogin.php%3Ft%3Dt%26url%3Dhttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.jstor.org%2Fsearch%2F
where I log on to the JSTOR site using my Username and Password.

Now my question is this what do I put in BE - Preferences - Internet - Proxy info
so as to be able to search JSTOR from within Bookends ? I must have tried nearly all
possible permutations.

To search JSTOR directly you need ip authentication, period. If you use Bookends browser, then you can use password/id access.
