Hello,
I have once again a large quantity of unmatched citations while scanning my Mellel document. I had repaired with success the database that had the EOF error I had previously posted about, and I checked the citation delimiter, its set to semicolon in preferences, yet I get a large quantity (nearly all) of unmatched citations when I start to scan the document in Mellel. Could anyone point me out to the resolution of the problem?
many thanks!
Large quantity of unmatched citations after database rebuild
Re: Large quantity of unmatched citations after database rebuild
It's impossible to say without more detailed information. This is a tech support issue, not one for a forum discussion. You should zip and send me the document and your database so I can try to reproduce it.

Re: Large quantity of unmatched citations after database rebuild
For those following, the problem was that a journal format was used to create the temp citations. This can result in the addition of characters and words that aren't in the reference metadata, and so the scan won't find it. If you want to use a format to create temporary citations, you must craft it yourself with this in mind. This is a feature for advanced users, and you're usually much better off using one of the predefined temp citation methods we provide (and which are the default): by content or by author/date/unique id.
