Moving attachments

Before I do something I regret, I'd like to make sure.

Do I have it right that I can move attachments that are currently elsewhere to ~/Documents/Bookends/Attachments and BE will find them?

I've got hundreds that for one reason or another are in a folder elsewhere and of course I don't want to lose the link. Can I just move the whole bunch to ~/Documents/Bookends/Attachments without fear?

Yes. That's the first place Bookends looks for attachments. Just move a couple and see for yourself that Bookends still finds them.
