Attachments

The attachment pane initially displays whichever attachment comes first in the inspector list.
When a source's attachments are in a folder it displays a big generic folder icon.
Typically in a folder I have a PDF and a notes text file.
I would like to see in pane by default the PDF not the folder icon.
I tried in Attachment Inspector dragging file above folder to make it first in list, but I realize now this messes things up due to smartness of folder.
Would it be possible in Inspector to select item in folder to be which attachment displays initially when viewing?
Obviously if I didn't use a folder for each item's attachments (P.S. I like the way it renames files and folders)
the problem would disappear, but for some items eg books, I may have a bunch of page scans, so a folder is tidy.
P.S. For each new item I have to create a new Untitled folder before I do attach (with move and rename)
It would be nice if Attachment could create the new folder itself rather than requiring a pre-existing folder.
