Problem with formatting in Snow Leopard and BE 10.6

Post by proteus »

I have recently installed Bookends 10.6 under Snow Leopard and proceeded to open a database and two formats (I copied them over from an external HDD to the formats folder of Bookends, under Applications) I had created under previous versions of BE and Leopard 10.5 OSX. The trouble I have having is that, both under Styled Text in Bookends Bibliography formatter option and in Mellel, once scanned, the text has random varying size.

For example,

W. Buchta, Who Rules Iran? : The Structure of Power in the Islamic Republic, Washington, Washington Institute for Near East Policy, 1999

The first Washington having double the size for no reason. Could anyone kindly point me out to the reason for this?

Many thanks!

It's hard to say from this post. Are you sure that the word Washington isn't in a larger font size in the reference itself?

You should follow this up directly to tech support.
