Post by oceanben »

Has anyone yet created a format for Bulletin Of Marine Science? I can try to take a stab at it and have attached a PDf of the Instructions to Authors which lays out the formatting guidelines ...

Hi,

It looks pretty straightforward except for one thing:

"When multiple works are cited by the same author, chronological order is followed. A line should indicate where the name of the author is the same as the above reference."

Bookends can't do that. It can substitute ______ if all the authors are the same, but it won't do this for individual authors.

Hi Jon. I still can't get over how fast your replies are. I was trying to figure that one out as well. I suppose the Bookends format could do everything BUT that and the adding of _____ could be done manually. That should be pretty rare and pretty easy. What do you think.

Yes. I didn't pore over every little detail, but in general the format looked pretty basic.
