If I attempt to attach a text file to a reference via drag and drop, BE thinks I am trying to import references from a text file. The only way I can see to attach a text file is through the Attachment Inspector, which is cumbersome. Am I missing something?

Iif you drag and drop a text file with the Command key held down, Bookends will offer to attach it.
