I'm running an unregistered Bookends 10.6.1 on Mac OS 10.5.7 on a 1.47 GHz PowerPC G4.
In the Online Search Window, I entered a string of 93 ISBNs, separated by a comma followed by a space. I got no results, except an error message saying "Your request contains too many values for ItemId. This parameter can have a maximum of 10 values."
But on p. 92 the Bookends User Guide says "Amazon returns books in chunks of 10, so if you ask that more than 10 items be returned Bookends will continue to fetch books (10 at a time) until the number you have requested, or the total number of books found, has been reached."
It worked fine when the string was only 2 ISBNs. What's happening with the larger string?
This operation is critical for me in deciding whether Bookends can meet my needs.

"Chunks of 10"??
Re: "Chunks of 10"??
You should contact us for tech support. My guess is that Amazon is refusing to process more than 10 isbns at a time (to prevent access by web robots). But if you contact us we'll see (techsupport@sonnysoftware.com).
