need access to BE 7

A clean install of OSX was required on my system; I no longer have access to BE 7 version to use to export my libraries into BE 8 - suggestions?

Found a BE7.dmg file in the recovered files from DiskWarrior; problem solved.

I'm glad you found an old copy, but as a general note to anyone else in this situation: we have a copy of Bookends 7.7.5 on our server. If anyone needs it, just write to me and I'll send you the URL so you can download it.

I need BE 775 to open an old database i had forgotten...

BE 7.7.5 needed to transform databases

Hi Jon,

In followed the link to provide a version of BE 7 to be able to export the old databases in order to open them in BE 9.
However, it is broken!
Cold you rebuild it or provide a new link for tat pupose?

NB: wouldn't it be possible to creata script/routine/programme, which is integrated into BE8/9 to do this without need of BE7?

No, there is no simple script (or I would have provided it). But it's only a one-time conversion.
