Bookends and PubMed On Tap

Post by Jon »

For you PubMed users, we are pleased to announce that with Bookends 10.6.2 you can import references and pdfs from PubMed On Tap 2.1 running on your iPhone/iPod Touch. Here is our web page outlining the interaction between these applications:

I know that one is to contact the devoloper of Pubmed On Tap if there are any problems; however, I'll post a problem here, to see if anyone here has a suggestion as to how to solve it. So here goes:

When I connect the iPhone, indeed it shows up in the Devices list and upon choosing my iPhone in the list I get prompted to type in a four-digit passcode, which I do. So far, so good, eh. Next, upon pressing Link, it all comes to a grinding hold and nothing happens — except for BE freezing for a few minutes. Then the prompt sort of regains it usability and once again, if I press Link, BE freezes for a few minutes.

From there and on, the only option I have is to do it all from the start, but with the same result. Each time BE gets released again, there's this window saying "Out of Bounds error".

Any suggestions as how to solve this?

Thx in advance :)

Dan

Edit: I use latest of everything, i.e. newest BE, Snow Leopard and iPhone OS.
