Preceding text not properly enclosed by () in V11

Hi altogether,

I have been using Bookends 10.4.6 without any problems. When updating to 11, I encountered the following problem:

I have numerous in-text citations preceded by somethink like "compare…", realised through "{\cf. \……}". I have set Bookends to enclose my in-text citations with normal brackets. Consequently, V10 made this "(cf. ……..)".

V11 however makes the exact same thing look like this: "cf. (……)", it does not enclose the preceding text in the brackets! I have not been able to find an option to set this up!

I'd be grateful for advice!

Thanks in advance,

Johannes

Hi, please download Bookends 11 again. This was fixed in a silent update a while ago.

Yeap, that solved the problem. Thanks for the notice. Would've been nice if Bookends had told me that I should have updated to 1.0.1 :-)

Thanks!

But there is no 11.0.1 yet. It's still 11.0.0.
