PayPal?

Post by Massachusetts user »

Having just had to give your somewhat 1990s-ish order page a Visa/MasterCard number that I'd rather not have (no American Express option), I'd like to request that you consider accepting PayPal payment in the future. Of course, I am looking forward to many free upgrades before this becomes an issue again...

Thanls!

Gee, I thought we were so hip, and now I hear we're yesterday's news. Bummer.

But on the brighter side, we actually do have a PayPal order page (that's linked from our order page). It's here:

P.S. This breakthrough was also noted here:

And yes, Bookends 11.0.1 is nearing launch, and some nice features for 11.0.2 are already planned.

Gulp. My apologies!

In (only slight) defense, let me blame my failure to notice your PayPal links to three things:

1. The absence of the familiar PayPal logo, which would have caught my eye. (Don't go adding it now and claiming it was always there! It's not!!)

2. The absence of PayPal on the payment method pulldown menu, which would likewise have caught my eye. (Ditto.)

3. My extreme eagerness to register my copy of Bookends 11, which clearly overpowered my reason.

:-)

The PayPal logo is on the PayPal page.

FYI, we do PayPal a bit differently in that we vet orders first to make sure they are correct, then have PayPal send an invoice to you (so it's a two-step process, as we describe on the PayPal page).

We have noted your reason #3, and find it completely understandable! :-)

P.S. I hope you like Bookends 11.
