Hi
I was just wondering if I can export any BE bibliography format to a LaTex bibliography style? I want to use my own created BE format to format my bibliography in my LaTex document. Any ideas if that is possible?

Cheers
Martin

I'm not sure if I understand your questions exactly, but there is no way of exporting a format to another program in a way it would understand. It's for use in Bookends only.

Sorry for sounding a bit confusing. I am fairly new to LaTex and I was wondering if I can somehow scan a LaTex document with BE? Is there a tutorial or How-to on this topic? I tried it and already changed the settings in BE to use BibTex: I changed the word processor to TeXShop and enabled BibTex. However, when I scanned my *.tex file I couldn't see any changes in terms of added in-text citations or bibliography. What are the necessary steps to scan a tex document and to format in-text citations and bibliography in tex documents?

Cheers

How where the citations inserted in TeXShop? Did you tell Bookends in preferences to use "BibTeX" temp citations (e.g. \cite{})? If so, you can scan the text file just as you would any document (it has to be a text file, not a Word/Mellel/etc. file). You'd use Biblio -> Scan Document.
