Hello,

I was importing references from the internet, and by mistake I have imported more than 100 references to an existing DB.

How I am deleting these entries? they are from 95 to 198 reference.

TIA

You can select them individually in the List View and press the Delete key.

Or you can use Refs -> Mark -> Mark Range to select references 95-198. These are now Hits. Click on the Hits group in the List View, select all the references on the right, and press Delete.

I have done what you suggest. I have chosen in Refs -> Mark -> Mark Range to select references 95-198 and then I clicked OK.
The results were that the first 94 references disappeared. I have revived them when choosing Mark all references.
Now, I am afraid to repeat this action, since I can't find to continuation steps you proposed.
Where is the List View on which I suppose to find the references to be deleted as you suggested.

I will need your supplementary explanations on the above points, since I am worrying now about what I am doing, and I do not want to create any damage to the first 94 references, which are very important to me.

They didn't disappear. they're in the database. You must read the user guide about the hits list. Once you understand that the instructions I provided should be clear.

And work with a copy of your database.

You are playing with me in cat and mouse game. You always turn me towards your user guide, but you know very well that your user guide is a very good document, but is not clear thoroughly to those English is not their language.
Instead of giving me an explanation, and for this this forum was created, which would be clear along all its length, you are playing around with me. It is unfortunate situation, for me.
I hope other members of the list will be more indulgent with me, and would explain me how to do it safely and efficiently.

I am not playing around, the instructions were very clear. You are asking a very basic question, and your response to the the original answer shows that you don't grasp this fundamental feature. The user guide (and tutorials) are written for exactly this purpose. So I refer you to them.

Once again (with a copy of your database):

1. Refs -> Mark -> Mark Range: 95-198
2. Click on the group Hits (left pane)
3. You now see a list of the hits (references 95-198) on the right.
4. Select the references (right pane)
5. Press Delete key.

You're done.

Click on the All group to see the references remaining in the (copy) of your database.

Thanks. I have managed to delete the undesired references from a copy of the database.

I successfully did it, but couldn't find all your instructions.
Until now I have no idea where is what is described in your parag. 2.
I can't find the references (right pane) in No. 4 of your instructions.

But it is good something than nothing.

Thanks again for your efforts.
