I'm a new Bookend user. I'm running a Macintosh 2.66 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon, 8 GB 1066 MHz DDR3, OS X 10.6.4 and BE 11.0.7. I'm using Pages from iWork09. I have entered one citation as {NameYear} and tried to scan and format the document. Preferences/Scan and Bib/Temporary Citations/Citation Delimiters ARE set to {}. When I scan in BE, or using the Pages script in the script menu bar menu. In each case, the scan and save to file seems to work fine, but when I open up the formatted document, there are absolutely no changes. The citation is still in the text and there is no bibliography. I looked in the FAQ and manual, but did not find any help (maybe I'm blind). Can anyone help?
Thanks.
No bibliography appears in Pages 09
Re: No bibliography appears in Pages 09
Hi. Make sure the citation is in the body of the text (not a header). If that's not it, you should contact support@sonnysoftware.com with your Pages document and database (both zipped).

Re: No bibliography appears in Pages 09-SOLVED!
Jon's attention to customer needs is exemplary and unusual. He worked on my 15,000 entry bibliography and a Pages document, identified a problem with some unknown formatting within the text file, created a new text file, repaired the library, and adjusted the internal cache size. No more problem! So, solution: check for unusual formatting within the text file first. If you have a huge, new library, take a few minutes and "repair" it. Make sure, again for huge libraries, that your internal cache size is sufficient.
