Sorry if this has been asked (can't imagine it hasn't) but i can't find a post on it.

I have a work by the following author: (Ps.?) Maximus the Confessor. I need it to appear that way in all citations. Currently it appears as "the Confessor, Ps.?) Maximus". Any way around this? I have a number of similar citations, but they are often combined with an author who actually has a family name as well.

You should terminate the name with a comma, and Bookends will output it as is:

(Ps.?) Maximus the Confessor,
