Hi,
Is there an easy way to move attachments from one folder to another? Not a big deal really if this is not possible…
Thanks

In Bookends? No. You can move them in the Finder of course (tip -- you can have Bookends reveal the pdf in the Finder with a right-click).

But then I would have to reattach the files because the links to them would be broken, wouldn't I?

There are no links. Bookends keeps track of all folders in which you have created attachments and looks for your attachments there. So if you transfer an attachment to a folder that has other attachments (or a subfolder thereof) Bookends will find it. If you move to a new folder with no other attachments, you'll have to reattach it (just the once), and any subsequent attachments moved to that folder will be found without reattaching. Of course if you move attachments within the default folder/subfolders, Bookends will find them.

Jon --
I had prepared a question about this and am pleased to discover how easy it will be for me to re-organize my growing attachment folder. All I have to do is work in the Finder, creating subfolders and Bookends just finds them.
Thank you for anticipating so many needs.

You can also create them in the Attachment dialog. There is a new folder button, which will create a subfolder in the default attachment folder hierarchy (and place the attachment there). See also the File -> Set Default Attachment Subfolder menu, too.
