"Get DOI" fails

Hi,
I noticed that the "Get DOI" command fails to retrieve a DOI even in cases where crossref.org succeeds given the same metadata.
For example, let's take the following book:
Rabaté, Jean-Michel. The Cambridge Companion to Lacan. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press, 2003.
The "Get DOI" in Bookends is unable to retrieve the DOI.
A search at http://www.crossref.org/SimpleTextQuery/
(which requires that the reference be entered in some bibliographic format, e.g. as above)
succeeds perfectly, returning the proper DOI: 10.1017/CCOL0521807441
However, a search at http://www.crossref.org/guestquery
fails persistently, despite my attempts with different combinations of metadata and fields in the web form.
Any ideas about this perplexing situation?
Thanks.
