The first letter of initials

Hi all,
I wonder if its possible to create a format where only the first letter of an author's initials is shown, eg. "Akbaraly, T." instead of "Akbaraly, T.N." if the author is defined as "Akbaraly, TN" in the reference details.
It is required by some publishers and currently I have to edit my bibliography manually, which is time consuming and prone to errors.
Thanks for help,
Adam

Hi, as you are aware that's not an option in Bookends (never heard of such a thing, actually). Is a requirement that others are seeing? Please jump in and let me know if you are.

Maybe I'm in minority, but such option would be very useful for me (I publish quite regularly in the journal requiring such citation format).
Regards,
Adam

Hi,

I understand, but adding options (especially those that make the UI more complex and cluttered) for single users only leads to unnecessary bugs and software bloat. I'd consider it, but need to see evidence that it would be useful to a significant minority of users.
