I'm finding some weird hiccups when using Smile software's Text Expander (latest version, 3.3.0.1) in the note panes of my references. Muscle memory is causing me annoyances as I automatically hit the abbreviations, but they fail to expand. It sort of just causes the cursor to bounce a bit, and then give up. Any thoughts?

No, sorry, not really. Bookends doesn't get along well with some utilities that get between it and the OS APIs. Maybe the folks at Smile software would have some ideas.
