Scan Word (for Mac 2011) document doesn´t work

Is Bookends not able to scan .doc files? I had to trasform the .doc to .rtf to be able to scan the document.

You need to use the Bookends scripts in Word to scan your documents, i.e. you tell word to scan the document instead of telling Bookends to scan a .doc file. (The scripts are supplied with Bookends along with instructions on how to use and install them – although I am not sure how this is handled now that Bookends comes as a bundle…)
