How can I get multiple references displayed in text?

I'm hoping you can help me. If I use the Harvard system, and I have multiple references, in the text it appears like this

But what I want it to look like is thisThis conversation spoke to a common understanding; computer workers work long hours (Valk and Srinivasan, 2011) (Augustsson and Sandberg, 2007).
