I use the bookends notes function extensively. I would like to see this function expanded. For example, we could have more word processor-like stuff for each note (caps, fonts, indents, etc...). Most important to me would be to have a hyperlink function so that we can connect ideas notes together. For example, I would like to be able to hyperlink all note that deal with "psychopathology" together.

You can apply the usual fonts, styles, sizes, etc. to notes (not tabs, which move you between fields in a database, but leading spaces would give you indents). You can't insert hypertext links in fields, but you can make groups or smart groups, which give you a much more powerful way to organize reference subsets.
