Bookends 11.1.7 is a universal binary, meaning it runs on PPC and Intel Macs. The installed base of PPC machines is getting to be quite small, and we plan to make the transition to Intel-only with Bookends 11.2. We will keep Bookends 11.1.7 available for those who need to run it on a PPC machine, but new features (and syncing with Bookends On Tap) will be Intel-only in 11.2 and beyond. I know that some people will be unhappy about this, but the change is inevitable. I'm posting this on the forum so that there can be an open discussion if people feel strongly about it.
