I recently decided to change the font for bibliographies, references, and lists -- all three -- to Palatino. Initially this seemed to work just fine, but then I noticed that some fields had remained in Lucida Grande, and also that this rebellious behavior was carried over into the formatted citation as well.

Any ideas what's causing this?

Yes, the font info is "hardcoded" in the reference itself.

You can change this to the default with Refs -> Global Change -> Restore Default Font Style
