This might be a really obvious one, but I just don't get it. I've migrated my Endnote library to Bookends. I used to keep corresponding pdfs separately, in a folder somewhere on my computer and link to that folder.
Now I have come to see the glory of bookends attachment folder and want all my attachments to be in there. HOwever, some reference already have attachments that reside in the pdf folder mentioned before. Is there some elegant way of moving them to the attachment folder without the reference 'losing' the link to the pdf?
If all your pdfs are already in a folder, then in the Finder simply drag the contents of that folder to the Bookends default attachment folder. The factory default is
~/Documents/Bookends/Attachments/
You can of course assign your existing folder as the default folder in Bookends preferences, if you prefer.
