convert text to citation

Dear Jon,

is there any way to import all the references in a normal WORD Document with approx 1700 footnotes (and approx 400 cited titles) to a Bookends database? The information does not have to be perfect, but a first step would save ma a hell of a lot of time!

Thanks,

Hendrik

Footnotes, no. As for references in a bibliography, you're best bet is to try File -> Import From Existing Bibliography. This will work for references that have DOIs assigned (not in the bibliography item itself) and are indexed by CrossRef. Try it and see if it gets at least some of those references into Bookends...
