Copy citation to Mellel not working?

I am using BE 11.2.5 with Mellel 2.9.1 and since upgrading copying citations to Mellel via cmd-y hasn't been working properly. At times, when I press cmd-y in Mellel it goes to BE, I select a citation and press cmd-y in BE and nothing happens. Or rather - I can see the 'Edit' menu activating, but not citation is copied to Mellel. If I reselect Mellel as my word processor under preferences it starts working again, but only for a while.

Any idea what is going on? Is this a bug?

Hm, I just tried this and found that if Mellel is already running when you launch Bookends, you have to go to Mellel and back (clicking) for Bookends to recognize it as running. I'll look into this.

P.S. When it stops working, you can check to see if Bookends still is linking to Mellel by looking at the File -> LInk menu. Mellel should be checked.

I see the problem. It's fixed for the next update.

For now, if you launch Bookends after Mellel, just deactivate the Bookends library window (click on Mellel or the Finder or somewhere else) and then activate it again by clicking on it. That will restore the link.
