Footnotes not bibliography

Hi,

I am pretty new to Bookends, so sorry if this is a dummy Q. I have successfully used Bookends for my first MA assignment and that all went very smoothly.

I am now writing a piece for my blog and I'd like to have simple footnotes rather than a bibliography. I am writing the piece in Word, using footnotes and then inserting citations in the footnotes using Bookends. Is there a way of configuring Bookends to simply replace the citations with the referenced work rather than using it to generate a bibliography at the end of the page?

Thanks

In the scan dialog, uncheck "Bibliography" and you'll just get the footnotes.

Yes I saw that option, but the footnotes I get when I scan the doc are just the clean references. What I am after is the bibliography style (ie. the full reference) against each foot note so:

1. Smith, J (2012) Some weighty tome. London ABC: Books
2. Jones, I (1981) Lost arks I have raided. Hollywood: Spielberg Fantasy Editions

Etc. Instead of:

1. (Smith, J, 2012)
2. (Jones, I, 1981)

...which is what I am getting at the moment.

Possible?

What you get depends on the format you are using. You want to be using a custom citation format, and the format should output the style you want. Please follow this up directly with tech support (support@sonnysoftware.com) and we'll work through what you're doing.
