when I select a reference, right-click, and select PubMed . . . Fill in PubMed Central ID, I get "Get PMCIDs" progress window, one of my two cores gets pegged at 100% by Bookends, Bookends responds sluggishly, and I have to force quit it. If I try to click "stop" in that progress window, nothing happens. Any tips? thanks

Please be patient. This is in the release notes for the next update:

• Convert PMID to PMCID has been updated to deal with changes made by PubMed Central.

Actually, after posting the above I realized that the fix was included in a silent update. So please download Bookends 11.2.9 again, getting PMCID should work again.

It works but it returns the following in the PMCID field:
PMC1234567

<td>-</td>

what are the td's?
