Hi,
all my form input fields have a black background in the Bookends Browser which makes them quite unusable. Text is only visible if selected with a double click. I must have been in one of the updates in the last 3 months, I didn't use the browser since then.
A quick fix would be very helpful, thank you!
Mac OS 10.6.8
Bookends 11.3
Regards,
Fabian

Re: Black input form fields in Bookends browser
While annoying, this only occurs with a minority of sites. Hopefully it will be fixed in an upcoming update (there are two causes for this, one is a bug in Lion 10.7.4 (which you are not using) and the other is in the framework Bookends uses). For now, know that the text is still there, it just can't be seen. So you can type (or paste) in the fields and the browser will submit that information with the form.

Re: Black input form fields in Bookends browser
Just wondering if there is any news about this. I am still using 10.7.4, because I'm not ready to go to Mountain Lion for a number of reasons, and it seems to happen with the websites I use the most. Admittedly only an annoyance, but an annoyance!
Thanks.
Thanks.

It's a bug in Lion, so Apple will never fix it. As far as I know, there is no such problem in Mountain Lion.
