It'd be useful for me to import standard PDF annotations (highlights, comments, etc) into the Notes field. It'd be great if BE can also map then directly to page numbers. I think some PDF have smart page number information, so ideally a highlight would become something like @621 highlight "This is the text I highlighted"

I know there were discussions about using Skim. Skim is great for exporting comments and highlights as RTF streams, but these days I'm using Preview + goodreader in the iPad more frequently, I think it'd be better to have integration to standard PDF annotations.
