Feature request: Ability to add any column

I find myself wanting a table view of the database so that I can add columns to view or not.

For example, I am trying to normalize my date format and individually have to page through every record to see what I could in a glance in table view.

The ability to configure the columns in the list view in the library window has always been present in preferences. Are you asking for this, or something else?
