failing to find older references in manual entry

I'm wondering if others are hitting this problem with the latest version of BE:
If I drag a recent pdf journal article that has a digital identifier, BE can autofill and complete the reference entry with no problem. However, using similar databases for the search, such as web of science or Google scholar, older pdf files are failing to be found, even if I enter the complete title of the article, author name and date of publication. What is more, all of these references were located within Web of Science in my web browser!

Any ideas why BE is falling short here?

Well, for one thing Web of Science hasn't worked for weeks because Reuters Thomson discontinued the service. Access to the new WoS service will be included in the next Bookends update (soon).

Ahh, good to know. I had not realized that the link with BE and WoS was broken.
