One of the main attractions for me with Bookends was the possibility of doing full text searches of my entire library, including attachments. However, I'm not getting this to work. I've just done a full text search by selecting 'spotlight' in the search field and inserting the word 'Vygotsky'. This only returned 30 hits (which I know is wrong based on the literature I have in my library). If I conduct the same search in the Bookends attachment folder using the Finder, I get 268 hits. If I do the same search on the same library in Papers, I get 219 hits.

Am I doing something wrong, or does Sente not actually provide a full text search? I have reindexed my entire hard drive, but this did not alter any of the search results.

The spotlight search in Bookends will find references that have a matching attachment in the default attachments folder or subfolders. If won't find references with attachments outside of these, or find references not attached to a pdf that you find with the spotlight search. This is a tech support issue, not a forum discussion, and you should contact tech support directly.
