Hello,

I have a citation: Chaddad, 2010, #28283
I can't locate the database where this citation is supposed to be. Comm.+F doesn't give an answer.
Which is the way to locate on my HD the approriate database from where this citation was taken?

You have to open each database you have and look. If you don't know where all your databases are, you can find them in the Finder (Command-F) and search for files of *kind* "Bookendsdb" (without the quote marks).

This is just one more reason we recommend using a single database, using groups to make logical separations.

I have pratically two places of DB of bookends. One is what you have instructed just now: And the second place of DB here: What are the differences between these two locations?

Your images are cut off. But I can see one is the Backup folder that Bookends creates. I assume the other is where you put the databases. Bookends does not enforce a specific folder for this, it's where you saved them when they were created.

To clear my point:
I use to used the backup created in the back up folder inside the BE folder inside applications support.
I have never did any back up, at least as long as I can recall, back up in the Documents folder. I didn't know about it existence, and know it thanks to your reply.

So there are two locations for BE databases, and I notice that the one in the Documents folder is las populated, for unknown reason for me.

Is there a reason for the creation of the inside Documents DB folder?

I believe that the location of Backup in the Documents folder was from older versions of Bookends. As part of making Bookends acceptable for sale on the Mac App Store, the location was changed to /Application Support/Bookends.
