Problems with iSync

Post by wieni »

Hi,

I have a problem with isync. Bookends works fine on my Powerbook and my Desktop. But I am using isync and use .mac and the idisk. If I change the Bookends database on my Powerbook the database is not synced though all other files I have changed were updated. If I try to open the changed files with my desktop I get the new versions. Only the Bookends database isn't updated.

Any idea what happens?

Best regards

hi. i have a similar setup, ie, bookends database on an idisk so i can use it both at home and at work. if i have turned idisk synchro on, there is a problem at sync, always presenting to different versions of my database, on .mac and on my local machine. i then click and it is solved, but it will come up the next time.

in my view, it's a bug of that whole .mac crap. the idea is wonderful, but apple really does a bad job on it...
