"Corrupted" author names and titles

Hello,
A few days ago I updated my Bookends with the most recent 12.1 (I have already had 12 for some time and I have been updating it regularly). Now when I look at my library, the Author and Titles are jumbled up. If an author name is longer on a line above, it takes the end of that author name and puts it down on the next author. For example:
Barro, Antonio Carlos
Barth, Karlnio Carlos (italics added to show the strange part)

This "nio Carlos" from the first author is added to the end of the next 6 entries and then mysteriously stops. The same problem is occurring with some of the Title lines, but not necessarily in connection with the author name endings that are being passed on. This happens off and on throughout my entire library with different authors or titles passing down their endings for 1-6 sources, sometimes skipping a few sources and jumping onto the 4th or 5th even.

If I do a "copy formatted," and paste, the pasted output is normal (does not include the ending that shows up in the library).

If I go into one of the sources that is acting funny and change just one thing, the added ending disappears. I did that with my entire library last night, and this morning when I opened Bookends up, the errors had all returned.

I tried rebuilding the library but it just rebuilt it with all the errors included (now actually being outputted when I pasted the formatted citation).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Forrest

This problem is due to changes made in the database engine. A silent update was made yesterday that should fix it. Please download and install Bookends 12.1 again.

Thank you Jon! I did as you suggested, and it looks like everything is back to normal. I can go back to utilizing your great product.

Kind regards,
