Version 5.2 of Pages re-introduces AppleScript hooks; does this allow better integration with Bookends?
Pages 5.0 hadsome AS support, which Bookends uses, Pages 5.2 just adds more. But again, unlike Pages 4.x and earlier, the file format is opaque and, to my knowledge, there is still no exposure of the APIs used with EndNote (I'd be happy to be told I'm wrong about that). Bookends will work with Pages 5 via Biblio -> Scan Open Pages Document (which is the easiest way to use it with Pages 4, too, although with 4.x you have the option of scanning a Pages document without Pages running).
