When creating database of reference I encountered the following behavior.
I need to enter pages range in appropriate field in the database. I want to write this data 1-35 as an example. It depends on the Language chosen in the system.
The first screen picture attached was taken when the language chosen is Hebrew the result is not possible as shown: The second scene picture was taken when the system language is English, and then the result is correct. Is there a way BE will work correctly also when the language is Hebrew.
I am on 10/9/4 and the last version of BE

I don't see how if the field is set to Hebrew -- it's a RTL language. You can change the individual field to English, though, or any LTR language.

If I understand you well, and if you understood my question correctly, it is impossible to write the figures 1-35 in BE if the system language is Hebrew, what i can do easily in Mellel

I never looked before -- yes, I can enter 1-35 in the Pages field if the field language is set to Hebrew.

Where do you do it in BE?

Using the Input Sources menu, which I have in the main menu. The icon of the menu is the flag of the country to which the language belongs. This is configured in

System Preferences -> Language & Text -> Input Sources

22 years ago when I started my way on my first classic II Mac I have learned this menu and if you looked at my screen pictures you could see that my problem exists only when the system language is Hebrew, which as you rightly wrote is R2L language.
I understand that the behavior of your BE with Hebrew is different than mine. I face a problem which I can't figure out how to solve.
What can I do to convince you that I have a problem. Look at the attached screen picture and the results I had when language is Hebrew.

Convincing me you have a problem isn't the issue. I already told you what to try -- setting the language for the Pages field to English. If that doesn't help there's really nothing more I can say. Bookends uses the OS APIs to handle language, so it's handled by the OS, not Bookends per se.

I can't believe this just popped up now -- you've been using Bookends for years. You've never seen this before?

I do changing the OS language in order to avoid the problem, i am facing.
I use BE for years but did not notice it before.

Really? You've been generating bibliographies for years and didn't see the pages numbers were corrupted? I can't reproduce your problem. Hopefully, someone else who uses Hebrew might have a suggestion and chime in on your question.

I haven't explained myself correctly.
You have explained clearly the issue. I have no problem with it.
I have noticed this problem, for a reason I can't explain, only recently.
I know now how to configure correctly the BE when writing inside the database.
