BoT crashes on search

Suddenly, perhaps since the last BoT update, performing any search in BoT crashes the app and returns me to the phone's home screen. It doesn't matter if the search is in English or Chinese. As I am entering the search string, the app crashes. Every time.
I'm using a library synced from BE 11.3.7 with records in multiple languages, especially English and Chinese. Verifying my BE library returns no problems. I also deleted all references from BoT, and sync'd the library from scratch. Still no luck.
