Smooth scrolling?

Hi all,
One of the things that bother me a little in BE is the bad scrolling behavior when I am browsing my collection. In multiple column view, that's not really a big deal since line heigh is pretty low, but when navigating in single column view or in the note stream it becomes pretty annoying, making looking for a specific item sometimes tricky. Overall, while BE is (for me) the best reference manager out there on the mac, I find it still not blending nicely in the Apple ecosystem. I could add to this that the UI is a little too reticulated (the lower toolbar is useless IMO; everything could/should be located in the main toolbar), but that's not exactly the subject here (though it is connected to the lack of great OS X integration). Do we have any chance to see a major UI refreshing in the future, especially integrating smooth scrolling behavior?
I'd be curious to know about the feeling of other users about it. I know cosmetic points are not critical aspects of a software, but it impacts the way we (like to) use it, and I believe most of us chose to work on a Mac for a reason.
Thanks and cheers,
Ben
