List View Attributes

Post by royboy »

Hello there Jon;
I'm a recent convert from EN too. Overall I am impressed with BookEnds, and also your level of support and feed back.
I wonder if it will be possible in a future version to change the font/character attributes in the List view. I would like to color-code those references that have attached files eg perhaps red for PDFs, green for QuickTime movies, blue for mpegs etc. It seems more eye-grabbing to me than the current tiny paper-clip implementation. Then perhaps a sort based on those attributes?
look forward to the next upgrade.
Cheers,
Rob

Hi Rob, thanks for the suggestion. I'll think about color coding for attachments, but I don't think we'd offer different colors for different attachments. It would be rather time consuming to collect that info. And what if there was more than on attachment? Finally, I think that the vast majority of users attaches only one kind of file (pdf). But let's see...

Thanks Jon;
I was letting my mind roam as I was composing the request. Certainly one color would suit almost all my needs!
Cheers,
Rob
